User Agreement
This User Agreement (“Agreement”) sets out the terms for using Replico and related services. “We,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of Replico. Please read it before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use Replico.
If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, involve a parent or legal guardian and obtain any consent required by applicable law.
1. Scope
This Agreement applies to your use of Replico’s casting, browsing, screen-mirroring and remote-control services. Your App Store software license is governed by the license terms presented with Replico, including Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement where applicable. This document does not replace that software license.
2. Services and availability
Replico helps you connect an iPhone to compatible receivers, cast supported photos, audio and videos, mirror your screen, browse websites, and control an active playback session from iPhone or Apple Watch. A Safari extension supports casting compatible web videos.
Feature availability depends on Replico version, operating system, receiver, media format, network and website. Loading a website does not mean that all of its videos can be cast. Some receivers or playback modes do not support every remote function, including volume adjustment.
Replico does not supply a subscription video library, grant access to paid content, or bypass digital rights management (DRM), website sign-in requirements or other access restrictions.
3. Using Replico
- Obtain Replico and its updates through authorized distribution channels and use compatible devices and software.
- You are responsible for the receiver, network access and any internet or mobile-data charges needed to use the service.
- No app account is required under the current product scope. A third-party website you visit may require its own account or subscription.
- Use only receivers and networks you own or have permission to use. Confirm the selected receiver before starting playback or mirroring.
- Only grant permissions you understand. Revoking a permission can affect the feature that depends on it.
- You may stop using Replico and uninstall it at any time. Keep your own copies of important content; Replico is not a backup service.
4. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains the information involved in using Replico and the available privacy choices. This Agreement is not blanket permission to collect, share or commercially exploit your personal information. Any separate consent required by law must still be obtained.
Screen mirroring can reveal notifications, messages and other private material. Review what is on your screen before sharing, and stop the session when you are finished. Third-party websites and receivers may handle information under their own terms and policies.
5. Your content and rights
You retain your rights in the content you own. Using Replico does not transfer ownership of your photos, videos, audio or other material to us. We do not obtain a general right to publish your content or use it in advertising merely because you cast it.
Only access, display or transmit content you own, have permission to use, or are otherwise legally entitled to use. You are responsible for respecting copyright, privacy, website terms and restrictions on public or commercial display. The ability to play a video does not establish permission to copy, redistribute or show it publicly.
If you believe material associated with Replico infringes your rights, use its feedback option and provide sufficient details to identify the material, your rights and your concern.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Replico to:
- Violate applicable law or another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Access a device, network, website or account without authorization.
- Bypass DRM, payment requirements or other technical access controls.
- Distribute malicious code, disrupt services or interfere with another user’s connection or playback.
- Copy, modify, redistribute or reverse-engineer Replico except where permitted by applicable law or the relevant software license, including applicable open-source licenses.
7. Changes, interruptions and termination
We may update Replico or change features to address technical, security or legal requirements. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of material changes or discontinuation. Older versions or affected features may stop working.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of this Agreement, a security risk or a legal requirement. Where appropriate and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not remove any rights or remedies you have under applicable law.
8. Fees and third-party services
Replico is free to use, with no subscriptions, in-app purchases or in-app advertising. Fees charged by your network provider, device provider or a third-party content service are separate.
Websites you choose to visit may display their own ads and offer paid services. They are responsible for their content and transactions. Replico is not affiliated with or endorsed by a website or receiver manufacturer merely because it can interact with that service or device.
9. Service limitations
We aim to provide Replico with reasonable care and skill. Casting quality and availability can be affected by network congestion, receiver limitations, system changes, website restrictions and other conditions. We do not promise uninterrupted playback, universal device compatibility or support for every website or media format.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Replico is otherwise provided on an “as available” basis. This does not exclude any statutory guarantee or warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability
We are responsible for loss or damage to the extent required by applicable law. Subject to that law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for a third party’s independent acts beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. The fact that Replico is free does not remove those rights.
11. General terms
This Agreement is governed by the laws of mainland China, subject to any mandatory protections available under the law of your place of residence. Disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law; this clause does not require you to waive a protected right to use your local courts.
We may revise this Agreement. Updated terms will be made available with an updated date, and material changes will be communicated as required by law. We will obtain agreement where required, rather than treat every change as automatically accepted.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. Nothing here creates a partnership, employment or agency relationship.
